Article 1 – Institute for Global Politics and Law is a think tank that works in the field of international law and international relations with a focus on Macedonia and the Balkan region. Our strategic priority is to contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives set up in the UN Charter under Article 1. More specifically, we intend to contribute to the public debate in Macedonia in the areas of international politics and law; to promote and develop new creative approaches and policies in the field; to demand transparency and inclusiveness of the decision-making processes in these areas and to provide expertise that would assist public institutions in achieving the country’s strategic priorities. In achieving these goals, the Institute will practice methods such as research and analysis, publishing policy papers and policy briefs, organizing public events, debates, conferences, trainings, seminars, simulations etc.
